Democrats Realize There is a Problem with Obamacare, And It’s Not Just HealthCare.gov
Ellison Barber of the Washington Free Beacon was on Fox News’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto” to discuss Democrats who are beginning to call for delays or changes in Obamacare. She says they are beginning to realize that problems with the website mean “bigger problems for the entire law.”
After weeks of glitches on HealthCare.gov, even Democrats are beginning to concede that Obamacare has major problems, though they’re doing so hesitantly. Many still erroneously suggest that the law is workable and, though they had over three years to set up their website, all that’s needed is more time. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) 11% stated Wednesday:
I think getting – giving people as much opportunity to get coverage and if we can extend the open enrollment period and make sure that we can continue to move forward with implementation – that’s the goal.
But Obamacare cannot be fixed. Tinkering around the edges won’t help. Obamacare is not about patients and their doctors. It’s not about quality healthcare. It’s about government control and power.
