Repealing is Appealing

Heritage Action Praises Majority of House Republicans

Washington, D.C. – The effort to repeal Obamacare has substantial momentum behind it. The discharge petition that would force the House of Representatives to vote on repealing Obamacare now has 109 signatories. These Representatives join Heritage Action for America in a nationwide campaign to repeal this terribly misguided law in its entirety.

Heritage Action praises all the Members, including the 79 that signed the petition this week, for taking bold, decisive action on behalf of a majority of Americans who want the law repealed.

“I am delighted to see such broad support for this effort,” Heritage Action CEO Michael A. Needham said. “The support of Republicans, both conservatives and moderates, from every region of the country, is very encouraging. All of these Members deserve praise for leading on this important issue. I fully expect Members who opposed Obamacare – both Republican and Democrat – to sign Discharge Petition #11. If not, they are implicitly supporting Obamacare.”
